Chef Suzanne Perrotto, the keynote speaker, takes questions from the student moderators at Plumosa. Perrotto opened Brulé in downtown Delray Beach in 2008. The 2019 book was Thank You, Omu!, a 2018 book by Oge Mora. Delray Reads Day is an annual community-wide event established in 2012 to support the Delray Beach Campaign for Grade-Level Reading. It brings community leaders and residents into area schools to learn more about how they can help schools and students.
