Buddy Walk … Uncorked kicked off the 23rd annual Buddy Walk in style, raising nearly $3,000 for the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization Resource Center. Sixty-plus supporters attended the party, which featured food, wine, auctions and a raffle. ‘It was very successful,’ executive director Anne Dichele says. ‘The nice thing about this event is that we have people who come who learn more about Gold Coast and more about the walk.’ The walk will take place Oct. 15.
