More than 400 attended Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse’s Heart of a Woman Luncheon featuring keynote speaker and Academy Award-winning actress Olympia Dukakis and honoring Jan Savarick, president of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation, as well as the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University and First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach. Proceeds from the seventh-annual event will benefit the crisis hotline, emergency shelter, transitional housing facility and outreach programs.
