Hundreds of boats with thousands of people jammed into Lake Boca Raton for the unsanctioned Boca Bash, held annually on the last Sunday in April. Boca Raton police charged one person with boating under the influence. Officers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission charged one man with BUI, another with BUI and reckless operation of a vessel, and a third, a 58-year-old man, with battery and cruelty toward a child after he was spotted having a confrontation with three females on his boat.
