The "attention-grabbing entry to West Atlantic Avenue and I-95 to signify to visitors that they had arrived at someplace special: Downtown Delray Beach" ... it's caused some controversy and although I'm very sad we lost those gorgeous trees, it's a bold and colorful welcome to our village by the sea.
