Twenty-five volunteers and The Institute for Regional Conservation came together to restore beach dune and coastal strand habitat at Red Reef Park in Boca Raton in July. Thanks to funding from the City of Boca Raton, IRC was able to provide 90 plants representing 18 native coastal species.
IRC will be holding four more volunteer events at Red Reef and South Beach parks between late July and the end of September 2023. If you would like more information on how to volunteer, reach out to Cara Abbott at abbot@regionalconservation.org.
