Walkway paver
Where: Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, 1801 N. Ocean Blvd., Boca Raton, 544-8605.
The gift: Two new pavilions providing a fish-eye view of the marine and coastal systems were built at Gumbo Limbo this year. What’s missing is a walkway to connect them. That’s where the paver project comes in.
You can help with the project by purchasing a brick paver etched with a message from you. It’s a gift that shows your support and lasts a lifetime. You can honor people you love, mark an anniversary or a birthday and pay tribute to a beloved pet.
It’ll be a gift that makes tracks to the tanks. The sea turtles will be eternally grateful!
How much: $150
Benefits: The center’s quest to increase public awareness of coastal and marine ecosystems through research, education, preservation and conservation.
