I wanted to suggest coverage of an event happening June 24 at the Zoom Room, a Canine Agility & Social Club in Coconut Creek. Dogs visit Zoom Room to learn canine agility, take a tricks class or even get fit with Dog Pilates. In accordance with National Take Your Dog to Work Day, Zoom Room is hosting a "Yappy Hour" complete with dog-friendly refreshments and a Doggy Disco® for dogs and their two-legged companions.

Canine Social Club Celebrates Take Your Dog to Work DayT, Donates Proceeds to Florida Humane Society .
Coconut Creek, FL - (June 20, 2011) - While employers begin preparing their offices for Take Your Dog to Work DayT, dogs and their two-legged companions have only one thing on their mind - what to do after a long day at the office. On Friday, June 24, 2011, the Zoom Room® in Coconut Creek will celebrate Take Your Dog to Work Day by hosting an after-work Yappy Hour party benefitting the Florida Humane Society .
Each year, thousands of businesses open their doors to employees' four-legged friends allowing canines to act as co-workers on Take Your Dog to Work Day. The Zoom Room in Coconut Creek, which specializes in dog agility training and the social aspect of dog ownership, will be one of six national locations hosting a Yappy Hour party featuring refreshments for humans and canines, Doggy Disco® party with music programming provided exclusively for the Zoom Room by Michaelangelo L'Acqua, global music director for W Hotels Worldwide.
"We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the human-canine bond while rewarding owners and their pets for 'working like dogs' alongside their very own," said Lee Fischer. "The Yappy Hour parties are an excellent way for dogs and their owners to socialize in an energetic environment while having fun, which is the core of our business."
The Yappy Hour party will begin at 5 p.m. with last call at 8 p.m. Admission is $10 per dog and the Zoom Room will donate 100 percent of the admission fees to local animal welfare organizations.
