Our son, Alex Ranson, is marrying Whitney Tiernan at the First Presbyterian Church in Delray Beach at the end of April. Whitney's parents are Mike and Lisa Tiernan of Delray Beach. We have posted an engagement announcement and will post a wedding announcement in the Palm Beach Post for a fee, but wondered if your paper has a process for such announcements for a fee. I am the mother of the groom, just trying to help out. Thanks, Sheryl Ranson

You should write a story on all the burglaries on the island in Delray Beach lately. My wife and I went to dinner one evening, only to come home and learn that we had been burglarized. Professionals, no fingerprints, went through two steel doors with deadbolt locks engaged. Only took good jewelry (left the cheaper stuff). I checked the local police website and learned that there have been 21 burglaries within blocks of our home during the past 6 months. I called one of the victims randomly and learned that the MO of her break-in was identical to ours. I believe there is a "serial burglar" in the area and have an opinion as to who it might be (door to door salesmen). I will be happy to speak with you if you are interested.

Thanks Mary Kate,

It's Diane Romagnano...formerly worked for the Film Commission and we worked briefly together during the PBIFF in 2004.
Don't know how I came across your website, but enjoyed the content.
Good job!
