Mac - What we found checking the MLS service was independent owners for each of the oceanfront estates. I didn't see anything at first blush that looked like foreign ownership. It's often difficult to tell who is buying estate property like these homes since most are purchased under a business, trust or investment group name rather than the individual or family name.
I haven't looked closely at these homes, but once the sales hit the Property Appraiser's database I can look again for any trends.
