At SAFE’s urging, the Atlantic Plaza redeveloper agreed to the following:

Letter to the Editor: Glad to see support for pets’ presence
Thank you so much to Arden Moore for helping to publicize the new law passed by Boynton Beach city commissioners, welcoming well-mannered dogs to be a part of the dining experience.
At long last, we are following the European example, where pets d
Letter to the Editor: Hayes captured spirit of Gumbo Limbo
I read the article written by Ron Hayes in the September issue of The Coastal Star. Although I always enjoy your newspaper, the article about Gumbo Limbo and the rescue of Cindy by Ryan Butts and his colleagues was of particular interest.

Letter to the Editor: Delray budget priorities not well thought out
I have repeatedly asked the mayor and city commissioners in public forums to describe how they distinguish between essential and non-essential services, and I can’t get an answer. When money is tight, taxpayers deserve to know which budget items are

Interesting that our coastal towns are, for the most part, smaller communities whose residents have a wide
Letter to the Editor: Intersection needs work to make turning safe
Although the Delray police said that the driver was not at fault, and that the “bicyclist was totally at fault,”the finding may not be that simple. [Police clear driver in fatal bike collision, February edition]

Letter to the Editor: Beach cleanup example might be followed
I, too, share your concern for litter on our beaches and waters. Litterbugs obviously feel no shame about trashing our beautiful coastal region, so I doubt lecturing their irresponsible behavior will have any effect.
However, we residents who walk t
