Delray Beach Parks & Recreation invites girls and boys ages 4 to 13 years old to join the Youth Flag Football League at Pompey Park. The league starts August 11th with two age divisions at Pompey Park Ball Fields on Mondays through Thursdays from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm at a cost of $25.00 per person. Applications will be accepted until August 11th. The 6 and under division is an instructional division and will focus on basic football skills like catching, throwing and team work concepts. The 13 and under division teams play non-contact 5-vs-5 games on a 60-yard field where the basics of football are learned and good sportsmanship is promoted.
