5/22 - 15th Annual Young Writers and Illustrators Contest Celebration at the Schoolhouse Children's Museum. This local competition encourages children in kindergarten through third grade to create their own original picture books. After reading the stories submitted by the children of South Florida, WXEL will judge our first, second and third place winners in Kindergarten through Third grade. The first place winners in each grade will go on to the national contest. Free for contest participans. 3-5 pm. 742-6782.
