Celebrating 50 years of keeping families safe, Women in Distress is hosting their annual Starfish Gala. All proceeds directly benefit Women In Distress’ 24/7 crisis hotline, emergency shelter, counseling services and community education initiatives. Tanya Brown, the sister of Nicole Brown Simpson, will serve as the keynote speaker. Sponsored by Legacy Healing Center, the black-tie optional evening will include a three-course gourmet dinner, open bar, auction and live music by the electrifying Gypsy Lane Band at the oceanfront Margaritaville Hollywood Beach Resort on Saturday, May 3 at 6 p.m.
