Nov. 8: The Junior League of Boca Raton will celebrate local women and their pledges to community volunteerism by recognizing 28 nominees from nonprofit organizations throughout Palm Beach County. This year’s chairwomen are Lynn Holcomb, Jan Kucera and Linda Gunn Paton. Time is 10:30 a.m. for the silent auction and noon for the luncheon. Cost is $95 to $200.
