WEST PALM BEACH GARDEN CLUB MEETS OCT. 12 AT PALM SPRINGS LIBRARY

The West Palm Beach Garden Club will open its 2015-2016 season with its Oct. 12 meeting in Palm Springs.  Speaker Molly Sims, a certified Florida Master Naturalist, will speak on “The Influence of Gardens in Art.”

The meeting begins at 10 a.m. and is held at the Palm Springs Library, 217 Cypress Lane.  It is free and open to the public.  Light refreshments are served at the beginning of each meeting.

In addition to Sims’ presentation, the club will also hear from a representative of the City of West Palm Beach Parks and Recreation Department about a proposed project.

The West Palm Beach Garden Club is affiliated with the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, its state parent organization, headquartered in Winter Park, as well as with the National Garden Club, headquartered in St. Louis, Mo.
