Author Lu Vickers covers the history of Weeki Wachee Springs from its very beginnings. Her talk features: vintage photographs of the mermaids from their earliest days performing silent ballets; the era when ABC built them a million-dollar theater; and its subsequent establishment as a Florida State Park.
