Greetings USCG Auxiliary Program Visitor Community Partners, 

Hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather of the season. We have another boating safety class coming up in July for those who are interested. Our May Class was very popular and filled with safety minded members of the community who want to stay safe on the water. 

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 39 is offering a Boating Safety Class on Saturday, July 19th, 2025.  (more info on the attached flyer). 

Mark your calendars to participate in this exciting class. Everyone is welcome!

July 2025 CLASS LOCATION AND DATE

Location: The Sea School 

                 2150 South Andrews Avenue 

                 Suite 202

                 Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316 

Classroom Location: 2nd Floor, Turn Right then 1st Left 

Date : Saturday, July 19th, 2025

Time: 9:00am to 5:00pm. (8 hours)

A Florida State Boater Identification Card and Certificate will be provided upon completion of the program. 

COST - $25.00  

USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 39 Instructors will make you a more prepared, safer boater - increasing your boating enjoyment!

What is the U.S. COAST GUARD AUXILIARY?

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is the volunteer uniformed component of the United States Coast Guard. Over 26,000 members across the country in every state serve their community and country. 

          USCG  Auxiliarists do the following:

  • Support the operations of the United States Coast Guard.
  • Promote and improve recreational boating safety through education and advocacy. 
  • Provide trained crews and facilities to enhance the safety and security of the waterways of the United States.
  • Further the Homeland Security Mission of the U.S. Coast Guard. 

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 39, holds multiple boating safety classes throughout the year to educate the public on boating safety. Florida has many waterways that are used by thousands of people each day. The aim of these classes is to educate and save lives. Education saves lives! 

Boating education is just one way that Flotilla 39 makes a difference in their community.
