Uncover "The Hidden Truth" of Black History at Pompey Park Recreation Center The Delray Beach Parks and Recreation Department invites you to go back to Africa in "The Hidden Truth" black history seminar. A panel of professors from local colleges will lecture about black history since before the 14th Century until the present time and will include subjects on the forgotten legacy, inventions and monuments, key characters such as kings and queens, and events like the Middle Passage. This free seminar will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2009 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Pompey Park Recreation Center, 1101 NW 2nd Street, Delray Beach.
