Kara Ross New York is a luxury accessories company based in New York City known for its bold and unique designs. A certified gemologist, Kara founded the company in 2003 with the vision to create jewelry that has character and imagination. Inspired by alternative materials like jet, lava, wood, and titanium, Kara’s love of these unique materials and colored stones manifests in their frequent use in both jewelry and handbags.
Kara is the 2014 Winner of the GEM Award for Design from the Jewelry Information Center. In 2012 Kara was chosen as one of the International Designers of Distinction by The Silver Promotion service and honored with the Women's Jewelry Association Excellence In Design Award. She is also a past winner of Fashion Group International's "Rising Star" Award for Jewelry Design.
