Jeff Davies and Mike McGinness are native Floridians with a love of history. Many years ago, they formed a Facebook group for people with similar interests—today there are over 218,000 members including scholars, students, politicians, and just plain folks who post their stories and images about Florida history. Davies and McGinness will share images and stories from their new book “Florida: A History in Pictures” featuring over 130 seldom seen photographs revealing the fascinating history of the Sunshine State. 6p Refreshments. 6:30 Speakers starts.
