Boynton Beach, FL…Now is the time to get active! The Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department wants you to get your kids involved in this fantastic Tot Flag Football League. Kids, ages 4 and 5 can get a head start on the competition by learning the basic skills associated with football as well as the important values of teamwork and sportsmanship. Most importantly, staff and volunteers stress the need to be active! Don’t let your kids learn about sports from video games; get them out and get them active to set the tone for life. This is a volunteer coach driven league and we pre-screen and train all those interested in coaching. League begins September 1, 2009 and games are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. Participants are required to pre-register for program at Intracoastal Park Clubhouse, 2240 N. Federal Highway. Registration hours are Tuesday - Thursday 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Tot Flag Football League is held at the Carolyn Sims Center, located at 225 NW 12 Avenue, Boynton Beach.
