Top Youth Girls Soccer Talent showcased in Palm Beach County

 

Boca Raton, FL-The United States Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (US Youth Soccer ODP) Girls Thanksgiving Interregional will converge on the campus of Florida Atlantic University November 20-25, 2011. This extremely competitive tournament attracts the top teams in each of the four (4) US Youth Soccer regions:  midwest, west, northeast, and southern.  Four (4) teams will complete in each age division of 14u, 15u, 16u, 17u, for a total of 16 teams and 288 players.

Continuing its tradition of elite competition and player development, youth from the nation’s top player identification program, US Youth Soccer ODP, will train and compete in front of national staff, collegiate coaches, and scouts from across the country to maximize their exposure for selection to the next level of play.

The US Youth Soccer Association is the largest division of the United States Soccer Federation, the governing body for soccer in the United States, with 55 member State Associations. US Youth Soccer is a nationwide body of over 600,000 volunteers and administrators, over 300,000 dedicated coaches, most of who also are volunteers and 3,000,000 youth players between the ages of five and nineteen.

The US Youth Soccer ODP Girls Thanksgiving Interregional is bringing more than $240,000, in economic impact to Palm Beach County and over 1,100 room nights.
