The Lord’s Place will host its 16th Annual Ending Homelessness Breakfast, Welcome Home, Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Kravis Center Cohen Pavilion at 7:30 AM. Taking place during Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, the breakfast aims to spread both community and national awareness and generate support to raise $250,000 toward welcoming more clients home and continuing to break the cycle of homelessness in Palm Beach County.
The Lord’s Place leads its clients to housing, employment, and restoration of dignity and a new life. The impactful breakfast will recognize long-time supporters and friends Kerry and Mike Diaz as Honorary Chairs and will feature thematic speeches and real-life stories to provide attendees with a deep understanding of The Lord’s Place mission in action and the many ways the agency is welcoming its clients home.
The Ending Homelessness Award will be presented to Jim Kukla, architect and long-time volunteer, for being instrumental in rebuilding clients’ lives and the construction of the new Fortin Family Campus in order for the agency to ultimately end homelessness.
Tickets are $100/person and sponsorships start at $2,500. For information regarding ticket purchases and sponsorship opportunities, visit: thelordsplace.org/ending-homelessness-breakfast.
