Roll out your sleeping bag, set up your tent, and get ready for an inspirational evening under the stars. The Lord’s Place will hold its 15th annual SleepOut to end homelessness on Friday, April 1 through Saturday morning, April 2, 2022, at the United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches.

Homelessness is a serious social and economic issue impacting all levels of our society. The Lord’s Place recognizes that all people deserve respect and a place to call home. Everyone from every walk of life is invited to participate in SleepOut 2022–a FREE, unique, and interactive view into the agency’s 40 plus-year mission to break the cycle of homelessness. This signature event educates the community on life-saving work, encourages participants to advocate for the most vulnerable and neglected, and inspires individuals to be a part of the solution.

The Lord’s Place is prepared for SleepOut 2022 to be both live and virtual on April 1, 2022. Participate in person in a safe, outdoor format, or if you prefer to remain home, join the program virtually. The agency will provide both options to allow everyone, whether in-person or at-home, to participate and experience the inspirational program as they aim to raise $325,000.

After the program, all attendees are encouraged to set up sleeping bags and tents at the event or in their homes or backyards. SleepOut encourages people to step out of the comfort of their homes for a night in a symbolic effort to raise awareness of the estimated 3,000 men, women, and children without a home on any given night in Palm Beach County.
