The Allman Revival is a passionate re-creation of a legendary Allman Brothers Band performance by 8 musicians who are not only skilled and accomplished, but more importantly, have a musical and emotional connection to this music…a fact you will see and hear as they take you through the classic songs from their early career that made you love the band in the first place. Statesboro Blues, Ramblin’ Man, Melissa, Blue Sky, Whipping Post and more!

PERFORMER BIOS:
Ken Hurley: Born in Kentucky, raised in Indiana and here in South Florida since 2006, Ken has been a standout vocalist in several local bands since his arrival and is considered the be a “next level” vocalist among his peers. In addition to The Allman Revival he is also the lead singer in “Beautiful Loser…..The Bob Seger Tribute” and with Lou Piccinetti and Tom Porter they perform as the acoustic trio “Wildwood” and as Stray Dogs, a regional cover band performing familiar songs in a funky and soulful way. His Kentucky roots and church choir background are both evident in his vocal style.

Lou Piccinetti: Although born in New York, Lou has been in South Florida since high school and has been an in-demand guitarist in the South Florida music scene ever since. Most recently he, along with other The Allman Revival members, continue their involvement in several concert-level bands including Yacht Rock, One Hit Wonders and Beautiful Loser as well as Wildwood, Stray Dogs and “Piece, an Instrumental Tribute To The Beatles”. Lou is the consummate pro moving effortlessly between genres.

Drew Preston: A guitarist from NYC, Drew Preston has been in South Florida for more than a decade where he has performed with many of the region’s top acts while touring with several national acts. Primarily a classic rock and blues player, he has studied jazz which has given his playing a certain maturity which helps to create wonderfully developed solos with deep meaning. When asked to join this project it was, for him, a no-brainer since according to him it was “back to where it all began”

Cory Bickford: The Allman Revival’s youngest member and the one charged with handling Greg Allman’s keyboard parts, Cory is a musical savant moving effortlessly between genres and instruments. In addition to his role in Yacht Rock, One Hit Wonders, Beautiful Loser and Stray Dogs, he is busy with State Of Flux, an original progressive
rock band.

Valerie White: Valerie is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who has been a staple in several South Florida based showbands while enjoying a busy solo career. Valerie is also a core member of Yacht Rock and One Hit Wonders.

Tom Porter: Described as “the busiest man in music” Tom is not only the bass player in The Allman Revival, Beautiful Loser, Yacht Rock, One Hit Wonders and Piece he is also the Founder and Manager of those bands. He is also a member of Stray Dogs And Wildwood with Ken and Lou while continuing his 25-year tenure with New York based original blues-rock trio Phil Varca & The SlamJammers, and with original Florida-based bands Atomic Fly and The Stiff. He is also owner/operator of “Great Tribute Bands”, a licensed talent & booking agency where he markets and books not only his own portfolio of bands but about 20 other bands and performers.

Ricky Sanders: A South Florida native, Ricky Sanders is a versatile drummer known for his impactful contributions to Saigon Kick’s final record and a decade-long position touring as the drummer for Brian Howe from Bad Company. With roots in South Florida’s music scene, Ricky has played in various cover and tribute bands across genres like rock, country, and blues. He continues to be an active session drummer, adding his rhythmic flair to diverse recording projects. Additionally, Ricky serves as a respected drum technician for top-tier bands such as Papa Roach, Rob Thomas, Matchbox 20, and Shinedown, showcasing his technical prowess in ensuring stellar live performances.

Nicole George: Born and raised in Florida Nicole is not only a drummer and percussionist with The Allman Revival, she is also with Dark Side Of The Sol, a well-known Pink Floyd tribute band where here technical skills and jazz
influences are on display.
