Please join us for a powerful evening highlighting the strength of women, including Woman of Valor Lottie Nilsen, Temple Beth El’s Vice President of Social Action, and Vice President of the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation at the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.
Optioned by filmmaker Steven Spielberg, Light of Days is the previously untold story of young Jewish women and girls who fought in the Resistance against the Nazis. It is based on the author’s original discovery of these women’s firsthand accounts in Yiddish. Interwoven with the stories from the author our clergy will retell the Passover story, highlighting the pivotal roles women played throughout our history.
