Disarming and oddly delightful, Towheads is the feature debut of artist and experimental filmmaker Shannon Plumb. This comedy about a housewife whose creative aspirations are stifled by domesticity is a playful series of episodes in which Plumb’s character compensates by donning disguises and playing eccentric characters in collaboration with her two children.
