ST. JOSPEH’S INVITES ALL TO JOIN THEM ON THE HIGH SEAS FOR FIRST ANNUAL SUMMER SHOOTOUT JUNE 5
WHO/WHAT: Fishermen and boaters, expert and novice, are invited to join St. Joseph’s Episcopal School for its first annual Summer Shootout. Participants will be fishing for dolphin, wahoo, tuna, kingfish and snapper. Proceeds will benefit the programs and student activities at St. Joseph’s in Boynton Beach, and tournament prizes will be awarded for largest fish, best lady angler and best junior angler. Prizes include cash; waived testing, enrollment and application fees for a new student registration at St. Joseph’s; a round of golf at Boca Green’s Country Club and assorted gear and gift cards from Reel Sassy.
WHEN/WHERE: A mandatory Captain’s Party for participating boaters will be held on June 3; the tournament will begin at 6 a.m. on June 5. Weigh-in is from 4-6 p.m. at Boynton Beach Boat Ramp, and the awards ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m.
ENTRY RULES AND REQUIREMENTS:
All boats must be registered at or before the Captain’s meeting with entry fees paid in full.
Entry fee is $150 per boat for up to 4 anglers, $50 for additional anglers.
Lines in the water no earlier that 6 a.m.
