The Boca Raton Public Library, along with public libraries in South Florida and around the country, is launching its annual Summer Reading program. This year’s theme, “Build a Better World,” has library staff geared up to provide activities, classes and great reads all summer long to inspire all ages to learn how they can impact their community and the world. The festivities begin with a Kick-Off Party on Saturday, June 10, from 10:00am−12:00pm at the Spanish River Library, 1501 NW Spanish River Blvd. The whole family is invited to play games, enjoy snacks, and listen to a live DJ. Special guests include the City of Boca Raton’s big trucks, FAU Athletics, Palm Beach County’s Environmental Resources Management, Solid Waste Authority, All Aboard Florida, and Youth Environmental Alliance.
