Summer Glass Working Specials
Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts announces summer glass working classes at special reduced pricing.
The Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts is a nonprofit organization in a Historic FEC Train Depot at 1105 2nd Ave South in Lake Worth. Located in the Lake Worth Arts District, this 14,500 square foot permanent arts center is dedicated to living and working artists as well as to the community. Open to the public for classes Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm the Center brings art to life, immersing the public in arts production and its creative processes, while providing direct interaction with artists from around the world. Join us to take a class or just visit to watch the artists’ work with hot molten glass to create magnificent treasures!
The Benzaiten Center has 3 main studios offering summer classes at special reduced rates.
The Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts was the vision of artist and philanthropist, JB Berkow. Since thirty percent of America’s artists live in the Southeast United States, Ms. Berkow wanted to encourage established and young emerging artists to continue living and working in South Florida. The Benzaiten Center supports these artists’ efforts to create glass and metal fine art sculptures in a world-class fabrication arts center by providing them with extremely reasonable studio rental costs along with a gallery for showing their work.
Discover the magical world of glass. Call for class times and additional information at 561-508-7315.
