Stand-Up Paddle Boarding Sign up today for the latest and greatest in the water fitness craze - Stand-up Paddle Boarding! Beginner paddle boarding lessons for those ages 15 and older will be offered throughout the winter at Oceanfront Park, located at 6415 N. Ocean Blvd., in Ocean Ridge. Experienced surfer, paddle boarder, and instructor Reinaldo Schiavinato will focus on the basics, including how to paddle, standup and turn. Staff is committed to providing a 100% stand up experience. The CPR certified professional instructional staff makes safety the number one priority. Sessions: Saturdays, July 17, August 7, August 21, from 8:30 - 10a.m. Fees: $31 Non-Resident; $25 Resident, prices are per paddle board lesson and include all necessary equipment, including use of paddle board and paddle. Pre-Registration is required for all recreation programs. Registration takes place at the Intracoastal Park Clubhouse, Tuesday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; Friday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Bring proof of residency (current utility bill), and for children a birth certificate is required. The Intracoastal Park Clubhouse is located at 2240 N. Federal Hwy., just south of Gateway Blvd. Contact the registration office at (561) 742-6650.
