Launch yourself into the next generation of space exploration at the South Florida Science Museum’s Space Explorers Weekend. The weekend will be filled with activities for guests to learn more about becoming an astronaut, discover space and what’s really out there, as well as view the spectacular rings of Saturn from the Museum’s observatory.
Space Explorers Weekend is Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Sunday May 8 from noon – 6 p.m.
Guest speakers: Dr. Rick Chappell - Saturday, May 7th at 1 p.m.
Dr. Edgar Mitchell - Sunday, May 8th at 1 p.m.
Dark Sky Party is Saturday, May 7 from 6 – 10 p.m.
Space Explorers Weekend admission: Adults $11.95; Seniors 62+ $10.50; children ages three-12 $8.95, under three years and Museum members are free.
Dark Sky Party admission is $5 per person for non-members and $3 for Museum members.
