IBERIABANK Hosts Shred Party to Benefit the Aplastic Anemia Foundation

Delray Beach, FL – IBERIABANK (www.iberiabank.com), the 124-year-old subsidiary of IBERIABANK Corporation, is hosting a Shred Party at their branch located at 900 SE 6TH Avenue in Delray Beach. The event will take place on Saturday, October 29, 2011 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Local residents are invited to bring old bank statements, checks, mortgage contracts, auto leases, etc. to have them shredded for security purposes.  A $2 donation per box or bag of shred is being requested with all proceeds collected being donated to the Aplastic Anemia Foundation (AAMOF.org).   Aplastic anemia is a serious blood disorder which causes many health problems.

Routine purging of confidential documents decreases the risk of identity theft. Shredding services were generously donated by Shred-It, an international document destruction company with offices throughout North America, including West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Fort Myers.
