Boca Raton:--The Sheffield Brothers—Skip, John, and Richard---will be the stage entertainment for the Boca Raton GreenMarket on Saturday, October 12, 10am to Noon, in Royal Palm Place, Boca Raton. They have been performing their special diversified musical repertoire, something for everyone, for over 20 years—everything from the music of Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett to the days of Simon & Garfunkel through today’s Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty ditties—-for the enjoyment of audiences. What characterizes their work is a heartbeat-tight rhythm section with drummer brother John and bass brother Skip, with inventive lead riffs by guitarist brother Richard. Although each have personal careers—Skip is an arts and entertainment writer and a published poet and author, Richard and John have successful careers in advertising—-their love of music has taken them to some of the best (and sometimes not-such best) venues, in south Florida.
The Boca Raton GreenMarket, in its 17th year, has farm-to-table, fresh-picked produce from local growers and lots more, 8am to 1pm, every Saturday until May 10, 2014, at the southwest parking lot of Royal Palm Place, S Fed Hwy and SE Mizner Blvd.in downtown Boca Raton.
