WHAT: Satisfy your sweet tooth and as you indulge in all things chocolate at the South Florida Science Museum’s Science of Chocolate.  The decadent, two-day event may give you a sugar rush but you will know more about the history of chocolate, the health benefits of chocolate and how to make chocolate when you leave the Museum.  During the weekend, guests can enjoy chocolate from the Hoffman’s Chocolates fountain, make and take their own chocolate hearts, enter for a chance to take home raffle prizes including a Hoffman’s Chocolate gift basket and many more sweet surprises for guests! 
 
Event is sponsored and presented by Hoffman’s Chocolates.  Event is free with paid Museum admission.
 
WHEN: Saturday, February 12th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, February 13th from noon to 5 p.m.

WHY: The South Florida Science Museum delivers entertaining and educational journeys through the many worlds of science and technology for curious minds of all ages. Located just off I-95 and Southern Blvd. in West Palm Beach, the Museum features more than 50 hands-on exhibits, a digital planetarium, fresh and saltwater aquariums, as well as natural history exhibitions.  Each year the Museum welcomes more than 125,000 visitors and reaches more than 45,000 students through workshops at the Museum and outreach programs to local schools. Established in 1961, the Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to exciting curiosity and furthering the understanding and appreciation of science and technology.
