The City of Boynton Beach is partnering with the Sand Sifters to present the Harvest Beach Cleanup, Saturday November 5, 2011, 8:00-10:15 a.m. at Oceanfront Park. The park is located at 6415 N. Ocean Blvd. (A1A), Ocean Ridge , FL , just North of the Ocean Avenue Bridge .
The Harvest Beach Cleanup is the monthly Sand Sifters event at the beach with a Harvest Twist! Activities include a Publix Supermarkets Turkey Dinner Gift Card Drawing; Candy Jar Guessing Game - Win the Entire Candy Jar; a Food & Toy Drive benefitting the Community Caring Center of Boynton Beach; a Manatee Awareness lecture - Palm Beach County Environmental Management Resources; Outdoor Fall Football Classic with the Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department staff members; SWA-Solid Waste Authority-Community Services & Recycling Information; Green Market Café making Florida Tropical Harvest Smoothies; and an Autumn Nature Walk with Tom Mahady Ocean Rescue Chief.
Get your Sand Sifters Commemorative T-Shirt, Just $5.00 each. There will be plenty of Pumpkins, Cider & Apples for volunteers. Community Service Hours Available!
