We are scheduling our next Safe Boating class Saturday, Aug 23rd. It will begin at 8 am and last until approximately 4 pm.(with a lunch break).

The location of the class will be at Harvey Oyer Park on the east side of Federal Hwy just south of Gateway Blvd in Boynton Beach. The course given by Flotilla 54 of the USCG AUX and covers seamanship, weather. boat handling, radio procedures,knot tying, rough water navigating and environmental issues relating to our waters.

It is a Powerpoint presentation.

The cost which includes workbooks and all related materials is $40 per student. At the end of the course each student will receive a certificate of completion and their information will forwarded to Fish & Wildlife Commission who in turn will forward a plastic "Safe Boating" card to each student.
