Well, OK, we can’t have a campfire (it is a library, after all), but we will be celebrating summer camp and the fun that comes with it. We’re also teaming up with the Delray Beach Historical Society’s 2019 Summer Snail Mail Camp for Kids, which is focused on something dear to us: letter writing! It’s the second year of this camp, called “Snail Mail Revolution”––and it was so popular last year that this year they’re offering THREE sessions through the summer. Our participation? We need each of you who attends our Campfire Social to write a simple letter to those kids to welcome them to camp. They’re all great kids and they’re all excited about letter writing and here’s our chance to foster that excitement. We will deliver those letters to the Delray Beach Historical Society’s Cason Cottage Museum, which is where these wonderful Snail Mail summer camps will take place.
