Local historians Janet DeVries and Ginger Pedersen share with the little known story of two of our county’s earliest pioneers: Fred and Birdie Spilman Dewey, who arrived here in 1886 and spent sixty years in Florida through excerpts from their book “Pioneering in Palm Beach”.  DeVries and Pedersen will be selling and signing their book at the event. Event will be at  7 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, at Town Hall in Boca Raton. Admission is $5.
