October 25, 2015
4 PM, Church Sanctuary
Come experience the classic 1925 silent film “Phantom of the Opera” set to music by renowned organist and improvisational artist Tim Brumfield. With the film rolling on a larger-than-life screen, Brumfield, dressed as the Phantom, improvises the score live on the powerful St. Gregory’s organ. Brumfield captures the drama as well as the occasional humor of “Phantom of the Opera” in this theatrical performance, which is part of the St. Gregory’s Spooktacular event. This one-of-a-kind show is a Halloween treat for children and adults alike!
Brumfield, a local performer with international fame, serves as Director of Music Ministry and Organist at St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church. He has been a member of the Grammy Award-winning Paul Winter Consort since 1998 and has performed around the world. Brumfield is also an Honorary Fellow of the National College of Music in London.
