Dr. Cunningham is an Assistant Professor of History at Florida Atlantic University specializing in African American, Gender Studies, and Public History. Candace will share information on a series of interviews she did with longtime residents of Boca Raton’s historic black community for the Boca Raton Museum of Art’s exhibit “Black Pearls,” currently on display at the Schmidt Museum through December 2023.
