The Office Depot Foundation invites guests to a South Florida-themed event (tropical shirts and casual wear are the preferred attire), with a reception and silent auction, followed by dinner, music, a live auction and a keynote speaker: Tierney Cahill, a Nevada elementary-school teacher who ran for U.S. Congress and wrote Ms. Cahill for Congress a book now being made into the upcoming film Class Act, starring Halle Berry. Musical entertainment by jazz pianist Copeland Davis. $150 for individuals, $275 for couples, and $1,250 for a table of 10.
