Music at St. Paul’s presents NOTEWORTHY DUO IN CONCERT

            Sunday, February 20th at 3:00 p.m.

The Music at St. Paul’s concert series, now in its 23rd season, will feature flutist Lisa Schroeder and guitarist Michael Nigro, in a program of music by Latin American composers on Sunday, February 20th, at 3:00 PM in historic St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 188 S. Swinton Avenue in the heart of Delray Beach.

The program will include Astor Piazzola's popular Libertango and L'Histoire du Tango, as well as Celso Machado's Musiques Populaires Bresiliennes, Máximo Diego Pujol's Suite Buenos Aires and Agua del Trapiche by José Luis Merlin, a work written specifically for the Noteworthy Duo.

Individually, Schroeder and Nigro are accomplished musicians at the top of their game. Together, their artistry merges to create this dynamic program featuring South American composers.  Noteworthy Duo released its debut CD, Between Flute and Guitar, in 2009 and since has been performing at colleges, universities, churches, libraries, and guitar societies and appearing live on television and radio. Lisa Schroeder and Michael Nigro are on the faculty of Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, California.

A $15 donation is requested for the concert, with preferred (front center) seating available at $18. Students are admitted for a $5 contribution. Tickets can be reserved by phone or online at www.stpaulsdelray.org. No one will be turned away for inability to contribute. Updated information will be posted, as it becomes available, on the church’s website, www.stpaulsdelray.org.
