Armory Director of Gallery Services, Ann Fay Rushforth will curate New*Art, gathering together works for the discerning eye of the Judge for Prizes, Gallery Director Fredric Snitzer, known as a “ Miami heavy hitter,” representing controversial artists with international reputations in diverse media and known for his strong presence at Art Basel Miami, showcasing new talent. Open to all artists working in all media, this exhibition is devoted to showcasing international entries of cutting-edge visual art. Artists are invited to apply to exhibit recent work produced after 2008. Fredric Snitzer will choose the winning selections for prizes in cash and in kind. Opening Reception: October 8, 2010, 6-8pm.Opening Reception Admission: FREE for members, $5 for non-membersFREE and open to the public (suggested donation), during regular gallery hours Monday-Friday 10am-4 pm, Saturday 10am-2pm
