October 14, 2011: The Delray Beach Public Library, located at 100 West Atlantic Avenue, will host "Mingle with the Mayors", an exciting event celebrating the City of Delray Beach's Centennial, on Thursday, October 27, 2011, from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm.
The community is invited to meet some of the living legends of Delray Beach who helped shape the incredible Village by the Sea. There will be interactive and lively discussions with our current and former Delray Beach Mayors, moderated by former Delray Beach Chamber of Commerce President Bill Wood.
The cost is $50 per person for this once-in-a-lifetime evening with Mayor Nelson "Woodie" McDuffie and former Mayors Doak Campbell III, Tom Lynch, David Schmidt, Jeff Perlman and Rita Ellis. Proceeds from this event will benefit the library's children and young adult programs.
