The Boca Raton Public Library is hosting an information event for veterans of all ages. Since November 2016, the BRPL’s Military Intel programs have provided veterans and their families with information about benefits, counseling, jobs and more. “The BRPL is happy to bring together these excellent organizations so that our veterans may explore and learn more about the many programs and benefits available to them,” notes Laura Sparrow, Navy (Ret), Supervisor of Account Services. “These short introductions to resources have proved to be beneficial to the veterans and their family members, and the Library will continue its outreach and programming on behalf of the veteran community in Boca Raton.” Presenters from the Pompano Beach Vet Center, PBC Division of Human & Veteran Services, CareerSource of Palm Beach County and Connected Warriors, Inc., will present for 20 minutes followed by Q&A. Enroll in this free program through the calendar at bocalibrary.org.
