Down Town Lake Worth Produces an Evening of Events from one end of the Town to the other From Theatrics to Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery to the Plaza Downtown Lake Worth will be hopping on Friday, May 21st with a wide variety of fun activities that will take place from 6 PM to 10 PM. These special activities are part of the regularly scheduled first and third Fridays on the Avenue. The 700 block of Lake Avenue will be hosting a Mid-Eastern Delights for Hot Summer Nights party. The central showcase of this event will take place in the Theatrics window at 705 Lake Avenue. Body painting artist Raquel McInnis will cover live bodies with her creations. There will be music, entertainment, fun food and light libations. Theatrics of Lake Worth, Ouzo Blue, Q & K Creations and The Bees Knees have all gotten together to put on a show and a receptions that will rock the block. This party takes place from 8-10 PM. The 600 block of Lake Avenue will feature a Peace theme with an artist reception at the Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery, 605 Lake Avenue. The window will display a large topiary sculpture. Many new works of art will be on display throughout the gallery. Artists will be on hand to mingle with the guests and pass out the wine and cheese from the buffet. The party takes place from 6PM-9PM. You can’t miss the gallery. Just look for the Mermaid at the door. Up and down the Lake and Lucerne Avenues will be musicians and street vendors. The Cultural Plaza will feature thirty vendors and an evening of music, food and beverages. The Downtown Cultural Alliance (DCA) is a non-profit organization of local merchants and residents working to create an exciting and vibrant community for residents and visitors to Downtown Lake Worth. Clay•Glass•Metal•Stone Cooperative Gallery is sponsored by the Flamingo Clay Studio, a non-profit arts organization whose mission is to provide affordable studio and gallery space for three-dimensional artists. The gallery is located at 605 Lake Avenue in downtown Lake Worth. Hours are Sunday thru Tuesday, 1PM-9PM. Wednesday thru Saturday, 9AM-9PM.
