Join Maria in the Museum Store for a jewelry-making demonstration.  This free event does not require a ticket to the Museum.

Since first presenting her work in The Boca Raton Museum store in February of 2020 Maria Paul Kyros has consistently been in the Top Ten of all of our Local Artists. Her sales reflect her popularity as well as her artistic vision. Her one-of-a-kind pieces are born of color, texture and shapes. The work is as much about each element as it is about how those elements relate to one another. The jewelry is completely created by hand with attention to detail, ease, comfort, as well as obvious esthetics. Maria uses glass seed-beads, freshwater pearls, gemstones, and other unique elements. She is a first-generation Greek immigrant, Pittsburgh native, Carnegie Mellon University graduate, graphic designer, mother of one and one dog!

“Even after over 20 years of creating jewelry I am in awe at how a bead a little bigger than a poppy seed connected to the next one and the next one by just a thread births a triangle, a circle, a leaf, a box…and those become my contemporary jewelry creations. I believe that everything starts with seriously good design.”
