The Boca Raton Public Library is celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month with a concert by the Matthew Nichols Latin Jazz Quartet at the Downtown Library on October 15 at 3:00pm. Nichols will be joined by musicians from Colombia, Venezuela, and the United States to share their unique sound and passion for music with the audience.
Matthew Nichols is a critically acclaimed percussionist who teaches and performs in the South Florida music community. He performs with a variety of ensembles with different styles, such as the Florida Grand Opera, the Miami Symphony, Florida Wind Symphony Jazz Orchestra, and other jazz combos in the tri-county area. Before living in Florida, he performed and taught in Richmond, Virginia.
